I am Arvind Vasan, a self taught pencil artist (under the name PencilCraftsByArvind) and Aerospace Engineer (PhD). Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I work at the cutting edge of electric aviation during the weekdays and explore the depths of graphite narratives by the nights and weekends.

To me, the analytical and the creative are two sides of the same coin. I apply the same engineering rigor used to study unseen forces that govern the world of electric aviation to explore the subtle nuances of the human experience. Through hyperrealism, I transform fleeting moments into permanent emotional narratives, honoring the intricate details we often overlook.

I am actively pursuing exhibition opportunities, magazine features, and collaborations with artists and collectors who value the intersection of technical discipline and cultural storytelling.
